Socks…

I figured out why I dislike socks. It isn’t second sock syndrome (which I hate!). It is the fact that first the leg NEVER ends, then the foot NEVER ends, then just when you finish it, you have to start over with another leg and another foot!

The girls

The girls and I are together A LOT. So, of course, they get on my nerves a lot. Today I woke up crabby before having to spend time with them. We went to Safeway and Ayanna heard the people in the floral department blowing up balloons. Ayanna asked “what is that sound, Momma?” I told her we would go see. They watched the lady put the balloon on the thing then it blew up! Yeah!!! Then she gave each girl their own balloon. I, of course, did not have the camera with me to get their faces.

I feel if I write this down, I can refer back to it when I am grumpy at them.

All children sleep

Malik and DeAndré (ages 14 and 11) asleep in the car after school. Ayanna is asleep in a ball. Her knees are almost touching her forehead. Anytime you see butt in the air, you *know* it is so cute!

Life, now

Now I am testing the app functionality while not connected to wifi.

So, we now have four kids. Ayanna will be 4 in December. Kandyce Marie Brown was born 8/18/08. She is quite the doll and looks sooo much like her sister. Malik is a Freshman in high school and DeAndré is in sixth grade. I am currently not employed outside the home. I am knitting when I find the time.

That is enough for now. More later.

Hello world!

I am here, now.  I have the “app for that” and hopefully I will not drop off the planet for two years this time.
